I'm going through the exact same thing with my current project! Ideas keep changing and my scenes turn out weird as I try to get back into the swing of things. I think it just takes time and determination! I've been re-animating my scenes over and over again to make things perfect, and the style is still off!
But man, Singularity was incredible! The choreography was entertaining and the action was fantastic!
